EURODEER database now integrates a new layer with elevation data. The EU-DEM is a raster dataset with elevations with a resolution of about 30 metre over Europe. The EU-DEM dataset is a realisation of the Copernicus programme, managed by the European Commission. The EU-DEM is a hybrid product based on SRTM and ASTER GDEM data fused by a weighted averaging approach. Slope and aspect have been generated using gdaldem. In Eurodeer, this layer replace SRTM and ASTER GDEM.
